Birthday: October 25
I grew up dancing at a studio in Dayton, OH, then received my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Slippery Rock University. After graduating college, I spent two years in New York City dancing professionally with Forza Malizia Dance Company, working as a trampoline fitness instructor, and managing a cycling & yoga studio. I then spent three years in Rhode Island where I taught dance to children ages 2-18 in various styles at the Talent Factory. I also was fortunate enough to dance professionally with Fusionworks Dance Company, where I performed throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts and worked as their booking manager and a teaching artist in local elementary schools. Since moving to Pittsburgh in 2018, I have loved teaching at Thomas as well as working as a teaching artist with Attack Theatre in Pittsburgh area schools.
Movement is an international language that we can all connect through, an essential part of our core being. It is my goal as a teacher to instill healthy habits while providing an understanding of physical, mental, and emotional wellness. I encourage my students to embrace their individuality to create their own unique voice through dance.
I love cooking, the color blue, raccoons, and true crime podcasts
