Birthday: May 1st
I grew up in Florida training in ballet, jazz, and lyrical. I graduated from Florida Southern College with my Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance and Choreography, where I focused my studies on classical and contemporary ballet, and various modern styles. Through the FSC Dance Program I was able to learn and perform classical ballet works such as Les Sylphide, Paquita, Swan Lake, and Giselle, along with training in various classical ballet variations. One of my favorite highlights of my dance career was performing at the prestigious Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Beckett, Massachusetts.
As a teacher I heavily utilize imagery and imagination in my classroom examples and lesson plans. My goal for any student is for them to use their imagination to visualize the dynamics of the step and their best self performing a skill, all as an independent thinker. I want every student to leave my classes feeling inspired and proud!
